The second pool: aerobic aeration pool. This pool is home to "aerobic" microorganisms. After the toilet sewage is settled in the first pool, the relatively clean sewage will flow into the second pool through the overflow port, and the aerobic microorganisms in this pool will be used to decompose the water and fertilizer.

Aerobic microorganisms are very similar to people. They must breathe air all the time. As long as they cannot breathe air, they will die immediately. In order to make the aerobic microorganisms live comfortably and happily, the second pool is specially equipped with a blower and aeration pipe for 24-hour air supply (similar to aquarium pumping) to provide sufficient oxygen for the growth of microorganisms; in addition, this pool will also be equipped with biological filter material or Filter balls, these filter materials are like the home of microorganisms, which are specially designed for microorganisms to attach and grow, as shown in the figure below.

The third pool: disinfection and drainage pool. The new septic tank has a disinfection system, called "disinfection tank". When using it, you need to open the ditchhole cover of the third pool of the septic tank, and put the disinfected chlorine into the disinfection tank. As shown in the figure below, the sewage flows through the chlorine. There will be sterilization effect.

Most of the chlorine ammonium can be bought in the chemical raw material industry. When purchasing, you need to buy 90% chlorine ammonium. If the concentration is too low, the effect will not be good. Based on a family of four, the daily dose of chloride is 20 grams, 600 grams a month, and at least once a month. According to the structure of the septic tank, the water and fertilizer should only be intercepted in the first tank of the septic tank, as shown in the figure below, so theoretically, the septic tank should be able to maintain normal operation as long as the homeowner pumps water and fertilizer 1-2 times a year.

However, in general, the homeowners rarely remember to pump water and fertilizer every year. Most of them wait until the toilet on the first floor is not flushing properly, then they will find someone to pump the water and fertilizer, but after pumping the water and fertilizer, the septic tank will become more frequent. When the second and third pools of the septic tank are almost full, it is not possible to only pump the first pool of the septic tank. There are two types of septic tanks: FRP (fiberglass) and RC (cement). Depending on the material of the septic tank, the treatment methods are slightly different. The details are as follows:

(1) FRP (fiberglass) septic tank:

FRP is a septic tank material that has been widely used in recent years. Because it is easy to assemble, transport and install, almost all Taiwanese septic tanks are FRP. world. When the second and third tanks of the FRP septic tank are almost full, there are two ways to deal with it:

Method (1): Find the "big" manholes in the three tanks of the septic tank, and drain the water and fertilizer accumulated in the first, second and third tanks.

Please be sure to find the large ditchhole (about 30 cm in diameter) to pump water and fertilizer, so as to avoid the small manhole from being unclean. In addition, if the manhole is covered by the floor, be very careful when knocking on the floor, because the FRP material is not shock-resistant, and the vibration is too strong to cause cracks, which will cause water leakage in the tank.

When cleaning the inside of the septic tank, it is necessary to especially clean the overflow baffle of the first tank, as shown in the figure below, this place is easily overlooked and not cleared. If there is still accumulation of water and fertilizer in the overflow baffle, even if The first, second and third pools of the septic tank have been drained, and the toilet on the first floor will still not flush properly!

Method (2): Replace the new septic tank.

If the ditchhole cannot be found to pump water and fertilizer, or the septic tank structure is damaged when knocking on the floor, such as cracks, it is necessary to replace the new septic tank.

(2) RC (cement) septic tank:

RC is a traditional septic tank material (as shown in the figure below), which was widely used in the early days, but since the advent of FRP septic tanks, the market share of RC septic tanks has been increasing year by year. slip. At present, unless the house is older (more than fifteen years), or you have specially designated the use of RC septic tanks when building the house, most of the houses in the sky are now dominated by FRP septic tanks.

When the second and third pools of the RC septic tank are almost full, there are two ways to deal with it:

Method (1): Find the "big" manholes in the three tanks of the septic tank, or drill new manholes; and drain the accumulated water and fertilizer in the first, second and third tanks.

Please find a large manhole (about 30 cm in diameter) to pump water and fertilizer. If only small manholes are found, you can consider processing (enlarging) the small manhole into a large manhole; or open a few more small manholes near the original manhole, Remove the water and fertilizer from the tank. In addition, if you can't find a manhole, because the RC material is strong enough, you can also pump water and fertilizer by drilling a new manhole, as shown in the figure below, but this method is not suitable for FRP septic tanks.

When cleaning the inside of the septic tank, the overflow baffle of the first pool should also be cleaned. If there is still accumulation of water and fertilizer in the overflow baffle, even if the first, second and third pools of the septic tank have been drained, the first floor The toilet still does not flush properly!

Method (2): Replace the new septic tank.

If the above methods cannot solve the septic tank problem, it is necessary to replace the septic tank with a new one.
